Nearshore Fishing Wrecks, Ledges, and Springs
Bottom fishing on wrecks and ledges with live pinfish or pilchards is a favorite pastime of mine. The bottom of the Gulf of Mexico is dotted with wrecks and ledges, springs and reefs. These small locations are surrounded by expansive areas of white sand. Acting as underwater oasis, the fish pile into these productive areas to feed.
Whether you are looking for Permit and Cobia in the summertime or if you prefer Grouper, Snapper and King Mackerel in the Winter and Spring, you are sure to be excited by your opportunity to catch some real trophies, a great dinner, or just a challenging fight.
Skinny Water Fishing the Flats & Bays
Backwater fishing the gem of Florida otherwise
known as the Florida Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands proves to be an excursion and experience you will not soon forget. Around each
snaking bend of mangrove lined rivers, one is likely to see Spoonbills, Alligators or likely even something fishy. This untamed
place offers the excitement of Tarpon and Snook with the likelihood of partaking in a great dinner
after your day is through
If your interests require a fly rod, artificial baits, or sight casting livies, we
will more than happily give you the opportunity to land that trophy you've always dreamed about. If you seek
substanance as your reward, we fillet them and tell you how to prepare them!
Eco-Tours & Shelling
If fishing isn't your favorite pastime, you can still experience all of the beauty the Ten Thousand Islands has to offer on one of our Eco-Tours. The pelicans, and roseate spoonbills, osprey, and bald eagles are just waiting to pose for you! The shells that can be found in the islands are in pristine condition and cannot usually be found on the common public beaches. Captain Todd's knowledge of the Islands will enrich your tour of the area.
